“In April 2023 client purchased an IRA annuity through 2 agents (other agent‘s name is not being disclosed in this filing). In January 2024 client contacted the insurance company to surrender the annuity policy. The client incurred a surrender charge of $6788.33. Client filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau March 8, 2024 to recover the amount of the surrender charge. The Better Business Bureau forwarded the complaint to the insurance company. The insurance company requested a statement from the agents. The insurance company closed the complaint March 18, 2024.”
