Claim(s) Made Against Shawn Christian Everett:

Claim Date: 11/10/2025

“Two clients were sold three fixed indexed annuities between September 2021 and January 2022 by Shawn Everett. The clients alleged misleading statements regarding investment returns, insufficient explanation of annuity growth and withdrawal formulas, unsuitable recommendations for their retirement goals, and the provision of handmade account statements that misrepresented their account balances. The main allegation was confusion over an alleged guaranteed interest rate, which actually referred to a simple interest rate on the income rider. After a thorough review of all relevant documentation including signed disclosures, suitability questionnaires, and product illustrations, the Firm confirmed that product features, fees, and income benefits were clearly explained to the clients at the time of sale. Mr. Everett‘s consolidated statement accurately disclosed that the account balances reflected the annuities‘ income base.”

This claim, as of this posting, is currently Denied with a claim amount of $23,728.99 .
